BOOKING:
Following receipt of a Reservation Request the Owner shall check the availability of the Property. If the Property is available for the Holiday, the Owner shall reserve the Property. There is NO contract in place for either party until the deposit has been collected in cleared funds by the Owner.
Upon receipt of the Initial Payment, (the deposit) the Owner will issue the Booking Form to complete the Booking.
The balance of the Rental Charge must be paid by the Holidaymaker to the Owner no later than eight (8) weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday.
Where the Owner has not received the balance by the due date, an overdue reminder letter/email will be issued to the Holidaymaker and a charge of £10 will be added to the balance due. If the balance is not received within four (4) days of that reminder, the Owner reserves the right to treat the Booking as cancelled by the Holidaymaker, the Holidaymaker shall have no claim against the Owner for compensation or reimbursement whatsoever.
All payments must be made in pounds sterling.
The Owner reserves the right to correct any error in advertised and/or confirmed prices.
Please note the Owner may charge a good housekeeping bond, with certain parties at the Owner’s discretion.
BOOKING DETAILS
Immediately upon receipt of the Holiday Confirmation from the Owner, the Holidaymaker should check the details and notify the Owner of any mistakes/errors made by the Owner as soon as possible and in any event within seven (7) days; no changes can be made to the Booking after this time. The Owner reserves the right to charge a holiday booking amendment fee to administer/correct any error by the Holidaymaker.
CANCELLATION BY THE HOLIDAYMAKER
The Holidaymaker should notify the Owner immediately in writing if he/she wishes to cancel the Booking.
The cancellation only takes effect when the Owner has received written confirmation from the Holidaymaker. If the Booking is cancelled after the balance of the Rental Charge becomes payable, such balance shall remain payable notwithstanding cancellation.
No deposit refunds will be given on the cancellation of a Booking by the Holidaymaker.
OTHER CANCELLATIONS
In the event of the Owner being unable to arrange the holiday accommodation requested by the Holidaymaker, or if the Property becomes unavailable for whatever reason, the Owner will endeavour to transfer the booking to an alternative date or a refund provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HOLIDAYMAKER
The property will be used solely for the purpose of a holiday by the Holidaymaker and their party, no party is to exceed the number of guests permitted in the property.
Small dogs are allowed in the property. However, pets must be kept downstairs and not left unattended within the property for long periods. Pets are not permitted upstairs. Any fowling should be bagged and put in the bin, including within the woodland national trust area opposite the property.
The Holidaymaker is liable for all damage caused by his/her pets. The Holidaymaker should remove all traces (inside and out) from the Property of pet occupation before final departure. The Property Owner reserves the right to levy any additional charge for any extra cleaning required after the Holidaymaker occupancy
The Holidaymaker agrees keep the property and all furniture, cooker, microwave, fridge, utensils, equipment, fixtures and fittings, bbq and bbq lid and grills are in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday and to ensure that at the end of the holiday the property is left in the same state of order and cleanliness in which it was found. The property owner reserves the right to levy an additional charge for any extra cleaning required after the holidaymaker’s occupancy and for any consequential loss.
The Holidaymaker must ensure that the BBQ is used in a correct manor, in accordance with the instructions and paying attention to any warnings and guidelines within those instruction. If the BBQ requires additional cleaning the Holidaymaker will be liable for the cost of such.
The Holidaymaker must report as soon as possible to the Owner any breakages or damage caused by the Holidaymaker during the holiday and to reimburse the Owner with the cost of replacement. The Owner reserves the right to make a claim against the Holidaymaker for repair or loss as a result of the damage caused. In the event that damage has been found after the occupancy and prior to the following booking, if the guest has failed to report any defect or damage on arrival then the damage will be deemed to be have been caused by the occupant and will be subject to reimbursement to the Owner.
Holidaymaker and all members of the party must show due consideration for other parties, refraining from abuses of the property and/or dangerous conduct, offensive or rude behaviour to the Owner, their representative or any third parties such as neighbours and other guests. If the behaviour is unsatisfactory, then we may elect to terminate this agreement and require you to leave the property immediately. In these circumstances we will treat your booking as having been cancelled by you from the moment of termination. If you or any person for whom you are responsible causes damage to any property on the Estate, you must pay such sum as necessary to make good the damage or loss including any sums, we may expend in compensating other people.
The Owner accept no responsibility whatsoever for your personal belongings whilst they are at the property. We also cannot accept liability for cars that are parked at owner’s risk, noise, nuisance or disturbance resulting from building works, traffic, noisy neighbours or local events etc and disruption of service from utility suppliers.
Sale Properties primarily book family parties only. We reserve the right to decline bookings from large/single sex parties e.g. Hen or Stag. You MUST advise us at the time of booking as Owners reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice and without refund in case of a breach of this condition. The maximum number of persons allowed at the property is clearly stated, this must not be exceeded, the Owners reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice and without refund in case of a breach of this condition.
The owner cannot be held responsible for any accident, loss or damage which may be sustained by any hirer, member of his party, or visitor or their property however caused.
The Owner or their representatives shall be allowed access to the accommodation at any reasonable time during the holiday to deal with complaints, repairs etc and to verify at certain times that the property is being used in accordance with the terms and conditions already agreed to.
In the event of any breaches of the terms & conditions the Holidaymaker’s shall be deemed to have cancelled the Booking and the Holidaymakers shall have no claim for compensation or reimbursement whatsoever.
The Holidaymaker’s agree to arrive after 4.00 pm on the arrival day and to vacate the property by 10.00am on the day of departure, unless prior arrangement has been agreed with the Owner.
OTHER IMPORTANT MATTERS CONCERNING YOUR BOOKING
You will need to contact us 5 days prior to your stay to get the code for the key safe box
Please contact the Sale Properties Office, between the hours of 9-5 07976 670318 or email bookings@perranwharfcottage.co.uk clearly stating your arrival date and the property name.
If applicable you will be requested to pay £200 good housekeeping bond, this will be returned less any deductions if applicable 3 days after the end of your stay once we have confirmed that the property has been returned undamaged in the condition in which it was originally handed over.
The deposit does not include charges valued above £200 those if applicable would be levied in addition.
Please be advised that Cots are no longer available (due to Health & Safety) you are requested to provide your own.
High Chairs may be available where possible on request.
Please adhere to refuse instructions.
